2009 Season

Bay Street's programming includes a Mainstage Season of three theatrical works that are produced on the Elaine Steinbeck Stage from June through Labor Day, offering a selection of classic and contemporary plays as well as musicals.

The Comedy Club brings some of the industry's top stand-up comedians such as David Brenner, Mario Cantone, Susie Essman, Robert Klein and Janeane Garofalo to the intimacy of the Bay Street stage.

KidStreet offers a variety of programs for families and young audiences including special performances by talented professional artists, Kids Theater Camps and a Saturday Morning Picture Show Series presented in part by National Grid, offering classic children's movies and family entertainment year-round on the big screen.

The Picture Show at Bay Street, presented in part by Reilly Windows & Doors, offers classic films as they were meant to be seen - on the big screen! Films are shown during the Spring, Fall and Winter on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Throughout the year, special performances are offered as well as community events including holiday sing-a-longs,
televised coverage of national events, etc. Bay Street is also available for rental by business groups, non-profits and other orgainzations.

Bay Street's commitment to furthering education and the arts is seen through programs such as The Young Playwrights Program, College Internships, Kids Theater Camps, and Literature Live! sponsored in part by TARGET.
