Since opening its doors in 1992, Bay Street Theatre has grown into a thriving institution, vital to the cultural life of the community, and widely recognized for its contribution to the quality of life on Long Island's East End.

As a not-for-profit (501C3) institution with ticket sales accounting for less than 50% of our revenue, we depend on the generosity of donors to help us sustain the quality of entertainment for which we've become known. MEMBERSHIP

At the heart of any performing arts institution are its contributors and volunteers. Join the Bay Street membership and enjoy special perks!

All Friends and Patron memberships are renewable annually and tax-deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.

CONTRIBUTIONS MADE DIRECTLY FROM IRA'S

If you are age 70½ or older and have an Individual Retirement Account, you can donate up to $100,000 each year from your IRA to charity. The distribution will not be taxed as income as long as: the charity is eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions, the charity is not a section 509(a)(3) supporting organization, and the withdrawal goes directly to the charity. You do not need to itemize your taxes to take advantage of this provision; if you do itemize, however, you cannot also take the contribution as a deduction.

A gift to Bay Street Theatre in memory of a loved one or in honor of a special occasion in a friend or family member's life is a very thoughtful and personalized way to remember then.All memorials, tributes and holiday gifts are fully tax-deductible and will go directly to support the productions and performances appreciated by you and your loved ones.

We will acknowledge your gift (excluding the amount) to those you have named and you will receive a letter confirming your gift.
