THE WORKSHOPS

Bay Street's newest initiative, The Workshops, is committed to developing new work and providing a home for participating artists to explore and expand their creative impulses and inspirations. The Workshops will bring a group of artists including writers, actors and directors to Bay Street's Elaine Steinbeck Stage where they will be given the opportunity to focus on developing their project for one week ending with a public presentation for our audience on the Saturday evening.

With the initiation of The Workshops, Bay Street will further its mission and contribute in a more concentrated and effective way to the continuation and expansion of new works, the artists' commitment to their craft and the audience's participation in the process.

The Workshops are made possible through the generous support of The Lucille Lortel Foundation.

"The Chalks" from February 22-February 27th.  A live performance of this musical will be open to the public on Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at 8pm.  Tickets are $15.
